Give Your AI a Proper Induction
Right now, your AI doesn't know anything about you. Every conversation starts from zero, like meeting someone new with no introduction at all. This is a simple way to fix that, properly, the way you'd induct anyone new into a job.
It takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Your AI will ask you a handful of questions, one at a time, and you share as much as you're comfortable sharing. At the end, it pulls everything together into a short personal snapshot you can save and reuse, anywhere you use it.
It works the same way in Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT.
Your AI will guide you through the questions, one at a time. When you've answered everything, it will write your personal snapshot and ask if you'd like it saved, refined, or expanded.

How it works

I'd like you to run a short induction interview so you can understand who I am, what I do, and how I work.
Please ask me the questions one at a time.
Use the CRAFT structure as your guide:
Context — understand my work and world
Request — ask what you need to know
Audience — understand who I speak to
Format — learn how I like things written
Tone — learn how I naturally sound
Start with an easy opener: "What kind of work do you do, and what does a typical week look like?"
After that, ask the following, one at a time:
What tasks do you do most often that you'd love help with?
Who are the people you usually write or communicate for?
How would you describe your natural writing voice?
What formats do you use most — emails, posts, reports, messages, something else?
What drew you to this work, or what matters most to you in how you do it?
When I've answered everything, please write a personalised snapshot of me in my own voice. The snapshot should include who I am, what I do, who I serve, how I like things written, my tone and voice, the tasks I often need help with, and anything else you think will help you support me well.
Title it "My AI Induction Snapshot."
When it's ready, ask if I'd like it saved, refined, or expanded.

Using it in future chats
Whenever you start something new, paste your snapshot at the top of the conversation and say "use this to guide your writing and suggestions." Your AI will pick up your voice, your audience, and your preferences straight away.
For an even richer profile
If you'd like your AI to learn your writing voice more deeply, you can share something you've already written — an email, a bio, a website paragraph, a social post. Your AI can use it to refine your snapshot so it sounds even more like you. This is entirely optional. The induction works well on its own.
